Reducers play a more and more important role in the national economy, and their product categories are also increasing. Common reducer types include gear reducer, worm gear reducer, harmonic reducer, planetary reducer, cycloidal pin gear reducer. Among the numerous reducers, how to choose one that meets your own requirements?
1. Gear reducer
The gear reducer is designed and manufactured on the basis of the modular combination system. There are a lot of motor combinations, installation forms and structural schemes. The transmission ratio is classified carefully to meet different operating conditions and achieve electromechanical integration. The gear reducer has the characteristics of small size, light weight, long service life, high bearing capacity, large transmission torque, easy disassembly and inspection, easy installation, stable operation and low noise. The gear reducer has high transmission efficiency, low energy consumption and superior performance.
2. Worm gear reducer
Worm gear reducer is a kind of power transmission mechanism, which uses the speed converter of gear to reduce the rotation number of motor (motor) to the required rotation number and obtain a larger torque. The main feature of worm gear reducer is that it has reverse self-locking function, can have a large reduction ratio, and the input shaft and output shaft are not on the same axis or plane. However, it is generally large in size, low in transmission efficiency and accuracy.
3. Harmonic reducer
The harmonic drive of harmonic reducer uses the controllable elastic deformation of flexible components to transmit motion and power. It is small in size, high in accuracy, and high in bearing capacity. Compared with ordinary reducer, it uses 50% less materials, and its volume and weight are reduced by at least 1/3. But the disadvantage is that the flexible wheel has limited service life, is not impact resistant, and is less rigid than the metal parts. The input speed cannot be too high.
4. Planetary reducer
The planetary reducer is characterized by small volume, compact structure, light weight, small return clearance, high accuracy, high bearing capacity, long service life, stable operation, low noise, large transmission ratio range, large output torque, large speed ratio, high efficiency, and safe performance. The main transmission structure of planetary reducer is: planetary gear, sun gear and internal gear ring. The internal gear of planetary reducer is carburized and hardened with 20CrMnTi and gear grinding. The planetary reducer is a new type of reducer with wide universality, which has the characteristics of power diversion and exclusive use of multi tooth meshing. Large input power can reach 104kW. The disadvantage is that the price is a little expensive.
5. Cycloidal pin gear reducer
The cycloidal pin gear reducer is a transmission model which adopts the cycloidal pin gear meshing planetary transmission principle. It is an ideal transmission device with many advantages, wide use and positive and negative operation. It can achieve a high reduction ratio of 1:87 and a high efficiency single-stage transmission of more than 90%. If multi-stage transmission is adopted, the reduction ratio will be greater. The primary transmission reduction ratio is 9~87, and the two-stage transmission reduction ratio is 121~5133. The multi-stage combination can reach tens of thousands. In addition, the needle tooth meshing system has sleeve type rolling friction, and there is no relative sliding on the meshing surface, so the primary reduction efficiency can reach 94%.
