Precautions for planetary reducer oil packaging

1) Before the sealing and assembly of planetary reducer oil, carry out processing inspection, measure the dimensions of cavity and shaft parts, ensure that there is no burr and damage at the chamfer, and clean the assembly parts.

2) Before installation, lithium grease containing molybdenum disulfide should be properly applied at the oil seal lip to prevent dry wear when the shaft is started.

3) The framework oil seal shall be installed flat without inclination. Oil pressure equipment or sleeve installation tools shall be used as far as possible. The pressure shall not be too large, and the speed shall be stable and slow.

4) The sealing lip end of the oil seal should face the side of the sealing medium and cannot be assembled in reverse. The double oil seal structure is also installed in the same direction.

5) When the oil seal lip passes through splines, keyways, threads, etc., special protective measures shall be taken to prevent the lip from being damaged.

6) When installing with the complete machine, as the coupling is hot installed, cooling measures should be taken between the oil seal and the coupling to prevent premature damage of the oil seal due to excessive temperature.
