Correct installation method of planetary reducer

Correct installation, use and maintenance of the reducer is an important link to ensure the normal operation of mechanical equipment. Therefore, when installing the planetary reducer, be sure to carefully assemble and use it in strict accordance with the following installation and use related matters.


1. Before installation, confirm whether the motor and reducer are intact, and strictly check whether the 5-digit dimensions of the motor and reducer are matched. Here are the dimensions and fit tolerances of the motor's locating boss, input shaft and reducer groove.


2. Unscrew the screw on the dust hole outside the reducer flange, adjust the PCS system clamping ring to align its side hole with the dust hole, insert the hexagon socket and tighten. Then, remove the motor shaft key.


3. Connect the motor and reducer naturally. During connection, it must be ensured that the concentricity of the reducer output shaft and the motor input shaft is consistent, and their outer flanges are parallel. If the concentricity is inconsistent, the motor shaft will be broken or the gear of the reducer will be worn.


In addition, during installation, it is forbidden to strike with a hammer to prevent excessive axial or radial force from damaging the bearing or gear. Be sure to tighten the mounting bolts before tightening the tightening bolts. Before installation, wipe the antirust oil on the motor input shaft, locating boss and reducer connection parts with gasoline or zinc sodium water. Its purpose is to ensure the tightness of connection and the flexibility of operation, and to prevent unnecessary wear.


Before connecting the motor and reducer, the motor shaft keyway shall be perpendicular to the tightening bolt. In order to ensure uniform stress, first screw on the installation bolts at any diagonal position, but do not tighten them, then screw on the other two diagonal installation bolts, and finally tighten the four installation bolts one by one. Finally, tighten the tightening bolts. All tightening bolts shall be fixed and checked by torque wrench according to the indicated fixed torque data. The correct installation between the reducer and mechanical equipment is similar to the correct installation between the reducer and the drive motor. The key is to ensure that the concentricity of the reducer output shaft and the driven part shaft is consistent.
