How to urgently handle abnormal temperature rise of ZLY710-18-2 hard tooth gear reducer
Emergency measures for abnormal temperature rise of ZLY710-18-2 hard tooth gear reducer, combined with its high power and heavy load working conditions, are recommended to be implemented according to the following priorities:1、 Immediate shutdown inspection (safety priority)
Forced shutdown conditions
When the oil temperature continues to exceed 90 ℃ or the bearing temperature reaches 120 ℃, the machine should be stopped immediately.

If accompanied by abnormal noise (such as metal friction sound) or increased vibration (acceleration>7.1m/s ²), it indicates the risk of mechanical damage.
2、 Rapid diagnosis and emergency response
Lubrication system intervention
Check the oil level: If the oil level is less than 1/3 of the window, add lubricating oil of the same model (such as L-CKC320); If the oil is turbid (iron content>150ppm) or contains metal debris, it needs to be completely replaced.
Emergency heat dissipation: Temporarily installing an axial flow fan (wind speed ≥ 2m/s) to directly blow the heat dissipation ribs of the box can reduce the oil temperature by 10-15 ℃.
Load adjustment
Reduce the output shaft torque to below 80% of the rated value to avoid continuous overload operation.
Check the alignment deviation of the coupling (radial error>0.05mm needs to be corrected) to reduce additional friction.
3、 Temporary operation control
Time limited operation strategy
If it is necessary to maintain operation, the temperature should be monitored every 30 minutes, and the machine should be forcibly shut down for cooling when the oil temperature exceeds 85 ℃.
Activate the backup cooling system (such as external water-cooled coils), with a recommended flow rate of ≥ 5L/min.
4、 Subsequent repair suggestions
Comprehensive inspection: After shutdown, it is necessary to check the gear tooth surface (replace if the pitting area is greater than 5%), bearing clearance (replace if it is greater than 0.2mm), and aging of the sealing components.
Heat dissipation renovation: For long-term solutions, it is recommended to increase the heat dissipation area of the box (heat dissipation rib height ≥ 50mm) or switch to an aluminum alloy box.
Note: All operations must be carried out in a power-off state, and high-temperature components (such as bearing seats) need to be cooled to below 60 ℃ before contact.
