Equipment and data verification
Verify that the model WHT05-63-8Z, speed ratio, center distance, power and other parameters are consistent with the design, and inspect the box, worm gear, worm gear, bearings, oil seals, etc. for cracks, deformation, rust, and collision damage.
Confirm that the random files (instructions, assembly drawings, certificates of conformity), anchor bolts, gaskets, exhaust plugs, and other accessories are complete.
Cleaning of installation surface and shaft

Basic strength and stiffness
The foundation is made of concrete or rigid steel structure, with compressive strength meeting the static and dynamic loads of the equipment, and no risk of settlement or deformation.

The basic surface is dry and free of oil stains, and the installation hole position and size match the reducer foot.
Fixed and leveling requirements
Use steel flat washers (wooden boards and rubber washers are prohibited) for leveling, with a quantity of ≤ 3 washers and a total thickness of ≤ 5mm.
The anchor bolts are tightened in diagonal cross steps according to the manufacturer's torque value (such as M12, about 80-100N · m) to prevent deformation of the box.
After installation, the gearbox is stable, without warping or looseness, the oil drain groove is unobstructed, and the cooling air circulation is good.
3、 Axis alignment and connection conditions
Coaxiality control (core)
The radial coaxiality between the input shaft and the motor shaft, as well as the output shaft and the working machine shaft, should be ≤ 0.05mm, and the axial deviation should be ≤ 0.1mm. Use a dial gauge/laser alignment instrument to check and adjust.
Priority should be given to using elastic couplings (such as plum blossom and diaphragm) to buffer vibrations, compensate for minor deviations, and rigid connections are strictly prohibited.
Axis extension and load limitation
When installing transmission components (sprockets, gears, pulleys) on the output shaft, hammering is prohibited. Use specialized fixtures or bolts to press them in and protect the bearings and oil seals.
The radial and axial loads on the output shaft shall not exceed the allowable values of the sample, and support bearings shall be installed when the cantilever load is too large.
It is strictly prohibited to apply excessive reverse load to self-locking worm gears.
