Phenomenon: the oil turns milky white, there are many foam, the oil level rises, and there is an odor
Reason: Moisture/condensate enters the casing and mixes with gear oil
Consequence: Oil film damage → Rapid wear of gears and bearings
2. Gear corrosion, pitting, and abnormal meshing noise
Phenomenon: Knocking and impact sound when restarting after stopping the machine
Reason: Internal condensation → Rusting of tooth surface → Decreased meshing accuracy
Typical: Low speed gears are most prone to rust
