Installation and maintenance points of WXJ100-55-1.5KW worm gear reducer
Proper installation and standardized maintenance can effectively extend the service life of the gearbox and reduce the incidence of failures. The specific points are as follows:(1) Installation points
1. Before installation, it is necessary to check the appearance of the gearbox to confirm that there are no bumps or damages, there are no impurities inside, the seals are intact, and the bearings and worm gears are not stuck;
2. During installation, it is necessary to ensure the coaxiality of the reducer with the motor and load equipment, with a deviation of no more than 0.1mm, to avoid installation deviation causing abnormal operation noise, excessive vibration, and damage to bearings and gears;
3. When fixing the reducer, the bolts should be evenly tightened to ensure a secure installation and prevent loosening during operation, which may affect transmission stability;
4. After installation, it is necessary to inject an appropriate amount of lubricating oil that meets the requirements (N220-N320 industrial gear oil is recommended), and the oil level should be controlled within the specified range of the oil gauge, not too much or too little.

(2) Maintenance points
1. Lubrication maintenance: Regularly check the oil level and quality of the lubricating oil. New equipment should be replaced with new oil after 100 hours of operation, and then every 2000-3000 hours of operation. If the working conditions are harsh (high temperature, high dust, heavy load), the oil change cycle should be shortened; When changing the oil, it is necessary to drain the old oil, clean the inside of the box, and then inject new oil to avoid mixing old and new oil and affecting the lubrication effect;
2. Daily monitoring: During operation, regularly check the temperature rise, vibration, and abnormal noise of the reducer. If the temperature is too high (over 40 ℃), abnormal vibration, or abnormal noise occurs, the machine should be stopped immediately for inspection to check for problems such as insufficient lubrication, component wear, or installation deviation;
3. Sealing maintenance: Regularly check the oil seal and gasket. If there is lubricating oil leakage, replace the sealing components in a timely manner to prevent the loss of lubricating oil and component wear;
4. Shutdown maintenance: When the machine is not in use for a long time (more than one month), the old oil in the box should be drained, the box should be cleaned, new oil should be injected, and rust prevention protection should be done. It should be placed in a dry and ventilated environment to avoid moisture and dust intrusion;
5. Component replacement: If the worm gear or worm is found to be severely worn, or if there is pitting or cracking on the tooth surface, it should be replaced in a timely manner. When replacing, standard parts of the same specification should be selected to ensure transmission accuracy and adaptability; When the bearing is damaged, it should be replaced in a timely manner to avoid affecting the overall operation.
