The first oil injection process of the sand washing machine reducer is complete, and if one step is wrong, the bearings will be burned directly

1. Preparation before oil injection

Cleaning and inspection: Use anhydrous ethanol to clean the oil injection port, oil discharge port, and oil level gauge to ensure that there are no iron filings or impurities remaining. Check if the seals (such as O-rings) are intact and replace them if necessary.

Confirm oil type: Strictly check the selected lubricating oil model and viscosity grade to ensure consistency with the equipment manual requirements. Due to the high temperature in the southern region, it is recommended to use lubricating oil with relatively high viscosity.

2. Standardize the oil injection operation

Filter oil injection: New oil must be filtered through a 10 μ m filter element before injection to prevent particle contamination. It is recommended to control the oil injection speed at ≤ 5L/min and inject slowly to prevent the formation of bubbles.

Precise control: Real time monitoring of oil level to ensure that the oil level is between the "MAX" and "MIN" marks on the oil gauge/oil level mirror. Low oil level can lead to insufficient lubrication, while high oil level can increase oil mixing loss and heat generation.

3. First oil change and subsequent maintenance

Chip removal during running in period: Metal debris will be generated during the initial operation of new equipment, and the first oil change must be forced after 10-15 days (or one month) of operation to prevent the debris from exacerbating gear and bearing wear.

Oil change timing: Oil change should be carried out after the equipment is shut down and when the oil temperature is slightly high (warm state). At this time, the old oil has good fluidity and can be discharged more thoroughly.

Subsequent cycle: After the first oil change, the lubricating oil can be replaced regularly every 6-12 months or equipment operating hours (such as 4000-8000 hours).

4. Trial operation and verification

No load test: After the oil injection is completed, start the equipment and run it without load for about 30 minutes.

Condition monitoring: During operation, closely monitor the oil temperature (usually not exceeding 80 ℃) and noise (≤ 85dB), and check whether there is any leakage on each sealing surface.

Secondary review: After stopping and standing for 24 hours, check the oil level again. Due to the possibility of oil seeping into the bearing chamber during operation, if the oil level drops, it should be replenished to the standard range in a timely manner.
