How to extend the overhaul cycle of P2SA27 planetary gearbox

The core of extending the overhaul cycle of P2SA27 planetary gearbox is to "reduce the loss of core components+avoid hidden dangers in advance". Based on the previous method, we further focus on key links, which is more in line with practical implementation, as follows:
1、 Precise lubrication: from "standard" to "adaptation"

Oil selection based on load: ISO VG 150 gear oil is used for light to medium loads, and VG 220 synthetic gear oil is directly upgraded for heavy loads and high-frequency impact conditions to enhance oil film stability.

Before changing the oil, it is necessary to rinse: After draining the old oil, add 10% new oil, manually turn or run without load for 1 minute to completely remove metal debris, and then add new oil to the standard level.

Oil quality warning: Use test strips to check the oil quality every month. If emulsification or impurity precipitation occurs, there is no need to wait for a cycle to change the oil directly, to avoid "lean operation" that exacerbates wear and tear.

2、 Working condition adaptation: avoid "overload operation"

Control the upper limit of load: The long-term operating load should not exceed 85% of the nameplate. When starting, use "step loading" (first empty load → half load → full load) to reduce gear impact.

Reduce ineffective losses: Install buffering devices in high-frequency start stop scenarios to avoid instantaneous impact on bearings and gears during each start-up; Prohibit shutdown with load to reduce tooth bite damage.

Environmental temperature control: When the temperature of the equipment casing exceeds 55 ℃, clean the heat sink or install a small fan in a timely manner. High temperature will accelerate the failure of lubricating oil and the aging of seals.

3、 Preventive maintenance of key components

Key protection for bearings: Check the bearing clearance every six months. If there is any shaking or high temperature at the bearing end during operation, replace it in advance (bearings are vulnerable parts, and the cost of early replacement is much lower than gear damage repair).

Gear meshing monitoring: Use an endoscope to inspect the tooth surface every quarter. If there is slight pitting, add anti-wear additives in a timely manner to prevent pitting from expanding into peeling.

Seal replacement in advance: The oil seal and sealing ring should be replaced according to any condition of "running for 18 months" or "slight oil leakage", and should not be dealt with until serious oil leakage occurs to prevent impurities from entering the interior.
