For this two-stage gearbox, its overload capacity is usually divided into two stages: "instantaneous overload" and "ultimate overload":

1. Instantaneous overload capacity (safe range):

Normally, 160% (or 1.6 times) of the rated torque is allowed.

Duration: Generally limited to within 2 minutes.

Application scenario: Device startup, braking, or short-term load fluctuations. Within this range, the gearbox is usually not damaged.

2. Extreme overload capacity (dangerous range):

Partial high-intensity working conditions or specific designs allow for instantaneous reaching of 200% to 250% of the rated torque.

Risk Warning: This is a critical value. If it exceeds 160% or even reaches 200% for a long time or frequently, it is highly likely to cause the needle gear shell to break, the cycloidal gear to collapse, or the input shaft to fracture.
