Precautions for running-in period of planetary reducer

Due to the harsh natural environment of the reducer gear, some common faults will inevitably occur during operation. Common faults can be divided into several categories: first, the reducer device has problems of increased vibration frequency between the driving wheel and the driving gear and excessive vibration noise during operation. If it is not solved in many ways immediately, the problem of broken teeth of the fixed diameter transmission gear in the operation of the reducer device will cause serious damage. Secondly, the gear reducer device will be damaged by grease lubrication. Under the condition of continuous high-speed operation of the reducer device for a long time, some mechanical parts will stick. If the grease fails, some parts will not be able to operate and the superior performance of the machine cannot be considered. Third, the problem of oil leakage of the reducer gear. It is likely that the skeleton seal is damaged or the housing is cracked due to adding too much residual oil. Of course, in this case, be sure to add an appropriate amount of grease or replace the gear reducer according to the instructions to facilitate the operation of the machine.

Install the recommended type and value of grease into the planetary reducer. The planetary reducer is lubricated with lubricating oil. For the vertically installed planetary reducer, since the lubricating oil may not guarantee the reliable lubrication of the top bearing, other lubrication measures are adopted. Before operation, inject an appropriate amount of lubricating oil into the planetary gear reducer. The viscosity of lubricating oil can also be selected according to the different planetary gear reducer. Planetary reducer is usually equipped with oil filling hole and oil drain plug. Therefore, when ordering the planetary reducer, the installation position must be specified to avoid the leakage of lubricating oil.

Without knowing the lubricating oil characteristics of the planetary reducer, adding lubricating oil to the reducer at will will not only fail to lubricate the planetary reducer and protect the gear, but also reduce the efficiency of the reducer, increase the wear power consumption of the planetary reducer, and indirectly reduce the service life of the reducer. Therefore, only by understanding the characteristics of the reducer lubricating oil can we better maintain and maintain the planetary reducer. Good wear resistance means that the reducer lubricating oil can form and maintain an oil film on the friction surface between moving parts to prevent metal contact and reduce wear. The wear resistance of planetary reducer lubricating oil mainly depends on the oil property and extreme pressure (shear resistance). Extreme pressure refers to the performance of preventing the friction surface from sintering, gluing and other damage under the extremely high pressure lubrication condition where the contact pressure of the friction surface is very high and the oil film is easy to break. Also called bearing capacity. Viscosity and viscosity temperature The lubricating oil of planetary reducer must have proper viscosity and good viscosity temperature. In general, the use of high viscosity lubricating oil is beneficial to prevent damage to parts and reduce noise, while low viscosity lubricating oil is better in transmission efficiency, cooling effect and oil transmission. In terms of viscosity-temperature performance, the reducer lubricating oil has no significant temperature change compared with the engine lubricating oil. However, due to its high pressure on the tooth surface, it is also required to have good viscosity-temperature performance, especially when used in cold areas. Otherwise, wear will increase and fuel consumption will increase.
