Why does the gearbox need to be debugged?

The most widely used transmission device in industrial enterprises is the gearbox. Whether the bearing clearance of each shaft in the gearbox can be adjusted properly is the key to determining the continuous and stable operation of the gearbox. Due to mutual wear and tear between various components, the bearing clearance increases. To ensure the continuous and stable operation of the reducer, it is necessary to adjust the bearing clearance of each shaft of the reducer after it has been running for a period of time. In the fixing method of the gearbox shaft system, two methods are generally used: fixing both ends of the shaft system and fixing one end of the shaft system with one end moving.

The fixing methods at both ends are generally divided into two types: bearing end cover external installation and bearing end cover embedded installation. Although the fixing method of external end cover is relatively simple in structure and has good sealing effect, when adjusting the clearance of bearings, it is necessary to open the box cover. This fixing method is mostly used to fix bearings that cannot be adjusted for clearance. When using the fixing method of external end cover to fix bearings, the gasket needs to be adjusted to adjust the bearing clearance, Enhanced sealing performance and increased shaft end length.

The fixing method of the embedded end cover is to use adjustment bolts, which is simple and can be used to fix bearings with adjustable clearance and reducers with high sealing requirements.

Fixation method at both ends of the shaft system: This structure often uses end caps to fix the outer ring of the bearing, which is relatively simple and convenient to use. The reducer uses an external end cover to fix the outer ring of the bearing, which is relatively simple in structure and convenient to use. This method is widely used on reducers. The gearbox experiences high noise and abnormal vibration, mainly due to the equipment components not being adjusted for a long time during the matching period and operating in an abnormal state for a long time. The clearance between the bearings of each shaft of the gearbox will increase, exceeding the specified range of use between bearings, leading to gear adhesion and causing loud noise and vibration. If the operator fails to detect it in a timely manner, it may also result in serious consequences of bearing and gear damage, To avoid the occurrence of the above situation, equipment personnel should strengthen the point inspection work of the equipment and ensure that the coordination values between various components of the equipment are checked and adjusted after a period of operation, so that the equipment always works in a good and stable state.
