When does WHX180-20-2F worm gear reducer need to replace bearings
When there is abnormal noise, overheating, excessive vibration, excessive clearance, installation failure, surface damage, or when the maintenance cycle is reached, the WHX180-20-2F reducer bearings should be replaced.Common situations where bearings need to be replaced
Abnormal noise: continuous sharp/periodic noise, obvious during idling or loading, mostly due to bearing damage or poor fit.

Overheating: Abnormal heating in the bearing area, with normal oil temperature but high bearing temperature, may result in poor lubrication or jamming.
Vibration/Shock: Large axial/radial movement, abnormal hand feel or auscultation, frequency spectrum with bearing characteristic frequency, should be replaced.
Gap and clearance: Axial displacement ≥ 0.10 mm, or significant increase or looseness in manual clearance, replacement is required.
Installation fit: If the shaft neck/seat hole is worn and causes loose fit, or if the inner ring is not tightly attached to the shaft shoulder after pressing (a 0.05 mm feeler gauge can be inserted), the fit should be replaced and repaired.
Surface damage: The raceway/rolling elements have pitting, rust, cracks, peeling, and burns, and should be replaced directly.
Lubrication and sealing failure: When grease is dry, oil contamination or oil seal damage causes water/dust to enter, and the cleanliness NAS is ≥ 9 and cannot be filtered online, replace the bearings and treat the lubrication system.
Maintenance cycle: Continuous operation for about 6 months. Maintenance should be checked and replaced as needed; Depending on the working conditions, it can be shortened to 3-6 months.
