What are the effects of excessive oil in the lubrication system of BWED131-385-2.2KW cycloidal pinwheel reducer

Excessive oil in the lubrication system of BWED131-385-2.2KW cycloidal pinwheel reducer can have adverse effects on the sealing, heat dissipation, lubrication effect, and other aspects of the equipment, as follows:

Oil seal failure and oil leakage: Excessive lubricating oil can increase the internal pressure of the gearbox, causing the oil seal to bear excessive pressure. The oil seal may deform or be damaged as a result, leading to the leakage of lubricating oil to the outside of the gearbox, which not only causes oil waste but also may pollute the working environment.

Foam generation: when there is too much oil, the lubricating oil is violently stirred during the reducer operation, which is easy to produce foam. Foam will reduce the viscosity and bearing capacity of the lubricating oil, greatly reducing its lubrication effect, and may further lead to oil seal failure.

Blocked heat dissipation: Lubricating oil circulating inside the gearbox helps to dissipate heat. However, excessive oil volume can hinder the normal flow of oil, reduce the heat dissipation space, affect the heat dissipation effect, cause the gearbox to overheat, and may further reduce the viscosity of lubricating oil, thin the oil film, and exacerbate component wear.

Increased energy loss: Excessive lubricating oil will increase the operating resistance of the internal rotating components of the reducer, leading to increased oil mixing loss, increased power loss, decreased operating efficiency of the reducer, and increased energy consumption.
