What are the maintenance methods for JBT5-B3 gearbox frame
The maintenance core of JBT5-B3 reducer frame is "corrosion prevention, precision maintenance, and stable structure". Combined with its installation form (B3 foot installation) and common material characteristics, the specific maintenance methods are as follows:1、 Daily cleaning and corrosion protection
Regularly remove surface dust, oil stains, and debris, especially at the bottom of the frame, bolt connections, and around shaft holes, to avoid accumulation of moisture and corrosion.
Check the coating status every 3-6 months. If the paint surface is damaged or exposed, promptly sand it with sandpaper and apply anti rust paint and topcoat; When used outdoors, an additional layer of hard film rust inhibitor can be sprayed.
In humid environments, wipe the key parts of the rack with a dry cloth every month, and place desiccants at the bottom or gaps to prevent condensation from accumulating.

2、 Inspection of Structure and Connection Parts
Check the foundation bolts and connecting bolts every 6-12 months, and tighten them according to the specified torque values (refer to bolt specifications, such as M16 bolts with a torque of approximately 100-150N · m) to avoid loosening and causing frame displacement.
If the frame is connected to the reducer or motor with dissimilar metals, regularly check the insulation gasket or anti-corrosion grease, and replace them in a timely manner when they are missing or aging to prevent electrochemical corrosion.
Manually rotate the coupling and check for any abnormal noise or vibration during the operation of the frame. If any abnormalities are found, investigate whether it is due to frame deformation or loose connections.
3、 Precision maintenance and status monitoring
Recheck the levelness of the rack installation surface with a spirit level every 12 months. If the deviation exceeds 0.1mm/m, adjust and correct it by adding or removing shims to ensure the coaxiality of the output shaft hole.
Use a coating thickness gauge to measure the thickness of the protective layer in key areas. If the total film thickness is less than 100 μ m, promptly repaint to avoid substrate exposure and corrosion.
Regularly inspect the mating surfaces of shaft holes, flanges, etc. If there are signs of wear or rust, use fine sandpaper to lightly polish and clean them. If necessary, perform local coating repairs.
4、 Environmental adaptation and special maintenance
In indoor environments with high levels of dust (such as building materials and mining auxiliary equipment), the cleaning frequency should be increased once a month to prevent dust from entering the shaft holes or bolt gaps, which may affect the accuracy of the fit.
Avoid the rack from coming into contact with corrosive media such as acid, alkali, salt spray, etc. If accidentally contaminated, immediately rinse with clean water, wipe dry, and treat with rust inhibitor.
When the machine is shut down for a long time (more than 3 months), clean the rack and apply anti rust oil, cover it with plastic film for protection, and regularly check for signs of rust.
