What should be considered when selecting a motor reducer for a mixing device?

The selection of motor reducer model needs to consider the following factors:
The power requirement of the mixing device: Based on the size, shape, viscosity of the mixing medium, and other parameters of the mixing device, the required power of the mixing device can be calculated.
Rated power of motor: Select a motor with a rated power slightly higher than the demand based on the power demand of the mixing device.
Reduction ratio of the gearbox: Select a gearbox with an appropriate reduction ratio based on the speed requirements of the mixing device.
Torque output of gearbox: Select a gearbox with appropriate torque output according to the torque requirements of the mixing device.
The specific calculation method is as follows:
Calculate the power demand of the mixing device using the formula P= ρ *  N ^ 3 * D ^ 5, where P is the power (in kilowatts), ρ  Is the medium density (in kilograms per cubic meter), N is the rotational speed (in revolutions per minute), and D is the agitator diameter (in meters).
Select a motor with a rated power slightly higher than the required power according to the power requirements of the mixing device.
Select a gearbox with an appropriate reduction ratio based on the rotational speed requirements of the mixing device. The calculation formula for the reduction ratio is i=N1/N2, where i is the reduction ratio, N1 is the motor speed, and N2 is the output shaft speed of the reducer.
Select a gearbox with appropriate torque output according to the torque requirements of the mixing device. The torque output of a gearbox is related to the rated power and reduction ratio of the motor. Generally, you can refer to the gearbox's product manual or consult the manufacturer.
It should be noted that the above calculation methods are for reference only. When selecting the motor reducer model, other factors such as working environment and service life need to be considered. It is recommended to consult professional motor reducer manufacturers or technical personnel to ensure correct and reliable selection.
