Specialized solution for dust-proof operation and maintenance of spinning machine reducers
Firstly, ensure proper external dust protection. Install specialized dust filters on the ventilation and heat dissipation holes of the reducer to prevent cotton wool and dust from entering the interior of the equipment; When the equipment is idle or shut down for maintenance, cover the main body of the equipment with a dust cover to avoid long-term exposure to dust environment. Before and after each shift, use compressed air and a cloth to clean the cotton wool and dust attached to the surface of the equipment, avoiding accumulation and blocking of heat dissipation and ventilation channels.Secondly, strengthen the protection of the sealing system. The main channel for dust intrusion is the sealing gap. After the old sealing components wear out, the gap becomes larger and the dust prevention effect drops sharply. It is necessary to regularly check the sealing status of oil seals, gaskets, and joint surfaces, replace aging sealing accessories comprehensively every quarter, and select dust-proof and wear-resistant special seals to improve the overall sealing of the equipment and prevent dust from entering from the source.

Thirdly, shorten the lubrication and maintenance cycle. Dust is easily mixed into lubricating oil through ventilation holes and gaps, causing oil deterioration, excessive impurities, and exacerbating internal component wear. Under normal operating conditions, the equipment needs to change oil every 3-6 months, while under textile dust conditions, the lubricating oil needs to be changed every 2-3 months. During each oil change, the oil tank and oil circuit should be thoroughly cleaned to remove dust and oil sludge deposited inside, ensuring the cleanliness of the lubrication system.
Fourth, regularly disassemble and thoroughly clean the machine. Conduct a deep disassembly and maintenance of the gearbox every six months, clean the dust and impurities deposited inside the gears, bearings, and chambers, check the wear status of accessories, repair worn parts in a timely manner, and avoid equipment failure caused by long-term dust wear.
Targeted dust-proof operation and maintenance can effectively adapt to harsh working conditions in textile workshops, significantly reduce the failure rate of reducers, extend equipment service life, and stabilize production line operation.
