Analysis of Abnormal Noises in Flour Milling Machine Reducer! Different sounds indicate different issues, enabling targeted repairs
Type 1: Sharp screeching sound. Continuous high-pitched screeching during equipment operation is mostly caused by poor gear meshing, severe tooth surface wear, or insufficient lubricating oil. Prolonged operation of a grinding machine with insufficient lubrication leads to dry grinding wear on gear teeth and increased meshing clearance, resulting in screeching. Immediate shutdown is required to inspect oil levels and quality, replenish or replace lubricant, and promptly replace severely worn gears.Type 2: Dull Impact Sounds. Intermittent dull impacts or clunking noises during operation are most likely caused by gear tooth breakage, bearing ball damage, or internal component looseness. This type of failure poses extremely high risk, as continued operation will completely damage the transmission system. Immediate shutdown is required, followed by disassembly of the gearbox to inspect internal components, replace damaged gears and bearings, and tighten loose parts.

Type Three: Uniform buzzing noise. Irregular faint buzzing accompanied by slight body vibration, often caused by bearing wear, misaligned couplings, or loose foundation bolts. Focus on checking bolt tightness, transmission concentricity, adjust coupling position, and replace worn bearings promptly to restore normal operation.
The fourth type: grinding and rustling sound. Continuous fine grinding noise is typically caused by excessive dust and impurities inside the housing or excessive lubricant contamination. During grinding operations, dust easily enters the housing, mixes with oil to form contaminants, and intensifies component friction. It is necessary to thoroughly replace the lubricant, clean the internal impurities of the housing, and ensure proper equipment sealing and protection.
Remember that abnormal noises correspond to faults, allowing preliminary issue identification without disassembly. This ensures precise repairs, reduces detours, and prevents minor faults from escalating into complete machine damage.
