What power motors are suitable for the WPWDA series worm gear reducer
1、 Universal adaptation power range for the entire seriesThe motor power levels that can be directly matched with conventional mainstream models include: 0.12 kW、0.18kW、0.37kW、0.55kW、0.75kW、1.1kW、1.5kW、2.2kW、3.0kW、4.0kW、5.5kW、7.5kW、11kW、15kW Covering the vast majority of industrial scenarios ranging from light to medium to heavy loads.
The typical adaptive power of small-sized models (such as WPWDA50) is 3kW, suitable for conventional light load conveying and light industrial machinery scenarios.
2、 Power upper limit for different center distance specifications
Small center distance models (40-80): Suitable for power concentration ranging from 0.12kW to 3kW, suitable for light load conditions such as small packaging and light transportation.
Center to center distance models (100-135): Suitable for power coverage ranging from 3kW to 7.5kW, suitable for medium load scenarios such as conventional mixing and environmentally friendly water treatment.

Large center distance models (155~250): can support up to 15kW motor input, suitable for heavy load conditions such as mining auxiliary equipment and heavy-duty elevators.
3、 Key considerations for power selection
It is necessary to ensure that the rated input power of the reducer is equal to or greater than the rated power of the motor, and to adjust the transmission efficiency based on the reduction ratio. The larger the reduction ratio, the lower the actual upper limit of the motor power that can be carried.
The input speed of the worm gear should not exceed 1500r/min. It is commonly compatible with 4-pole 1450r/min asynchronous motors to avoid high speed exacerbating worm gear wear.
