Precautions for installation of rewinder reducer: avoid "oil mixing loss"
Oil agitation loss "refers to excessive lubricating oil inside the gearbox, causing the gears to frequently and violently agitate the oil during high-speed rotation. This will not only increase additional frictional resistance, causing energy loss, but also cause abnormal oil temperature rise, and even increase the risk of leakage at the seal. For the installation of the rewinder reducer, it is recommended to strictly follow the following precautions:
1. Accurately control the oil level height
Fill according to standard: After installation, the oil level plug screw must be opened to check the height of the oil level line. It is necessary to strictly follow the requirements of the equipment manual and add lubricating oil from the oil level plug to the specified lubricating oil level (usually recommended to be at the center line of the oil gauge window).
Avoid excessive oil level: Do not blindly add lubricating oil. Excessive oil level will directly increase oil agitation loss, leading to rapid temperature rise and increasing the risk of leakage; Meanwhile, a low oil level can lead to insufficient lubrication, exacerbating the wear of gears and bearings.
2. Standardized installation and alignment
Ensure concentricity: When installing the reducer and driving motor or rewinding machine working spindle, it is necessary to ensure that the concentricity of the output shaft and input shaft is consistent, and the outer flange is parallel. Excessive concentricity deviation can cause additional vibration and resistance during equipment operation, indirectly affecting the stability of the lubrication system.
Violent tapping is strictly prohibited: When installing transmission components (such as couplings, sprockets, etc.) on the output shaft, it is strictly prohibited to use tools such as hammers to directly strike. Assembly fixtures and internal threads on the shaft end should be used to smoothly press the transmission components in with bolts to prevent excessive axial or radial forces from damaging the internal gears or bearings.

3. Ensure stable foundation and heat dissipation
Horizontal firm installation: The reducer must be firmly installed on a stable, horizontal foundation or base. Unreliability of the foundation can lead to vibration and noise during operation, which not only accelerates component damage but also exacerbates abnormal fluctuations in the oil.
Ensure heat dissipation circulation: The installation position should ensure smooth circulation of cooling air. If the working condition of the rewinder is continuous operation or in a high-temperature environment, it is recommended to install a cooling fan or oil cooler to effectively remove the heat generated by friction and oil agitation.
