Common faults and solutions for ZLY400-8-2 hard-tooth surface reducer

The common faults and solutions of ZLY400-8-2 hard tooth reducer are as follows:

Excessive noise

Gear and bearing wear: After long-term use, the surface of gears and bearings may experience wear, resulting in a decrease in meshing accuracy and the generation of noise. The solution is to regularly check the wear of gears and bearings. If the wear is severe, it needs to be replaced in a timely manner.

Gear meshing problem: Loose or deviated gear meshing can also cause noise. At this point, it is necessary to check the meshing status of the gears. If there is any looseness or deviation, adjustments should be made to ensure the meshing accuracy between the gears.

Insufficient lubricating oil: Suitable lubricating oil is crucial for the normal operation of the gearbox. Insufficient lubricating oil can lead to increased friction between gears and bearings, resulting in noise. The oil level of the lubricating oil should be checked and added to the appropriate level in a timely manner.

There are debris inside the gearbox: The debris inside the gearbox may interfere with the normal operation of the gears and produce noise. It is necessary to clean the gearbox, remove internal debris, and check the sealing device to prevent debris from entering again.

Excessive temperature rise

Lubricating oil problem: Too much or too little lubricating oil can affect the heat dissipation effect of the gearbox. Excessive lubricating oil will increase stirring resistance and generate heat; Insufficient lubrication and heat dissipation cannot be provided. Check the amount of lubricating oil, add or replace lubricating oil reasonably, and ensure that the quality of lubricating oil meets the requirements.

Gear and bearing wear: Wear can lead to increased friction between components, generating more heat. If gear and bearing wear is found, they should be replaced in a timely manner.

Cooling system failure: If the gearbox is equipped with a cooling system, a cooling system failure can lead to poor heat dissipation. It is necessary to check the working status of the cooling system, such as the cooling fan, cooling water pipeline, etc. If there are any problems, they should be repaired in a timely manner.

Water ingress into the gearbox: Water ingress into the gearbox will emulsify the lubricating oil, reducing lubrication and heat dissipation performance. To inspect the sealing device, prevent water from entering the gearbox, and replace the emulsified lubricating oil.
