Does the dryer reducer frequently leak oil? Identify these 4 core reasons and easily solve them
1. The seal is aging and damaged. The dryer is exposed to dust and humidity for a long time, and the oil seal and sealing ring of the reducer are easily corroded by high temperature and dust, which can lead to hardening, cracking, and deformation, resulting in seal failure and oil leakage. Solution: Regularly check the sealing accessories, replace the original factory seals every 6-12 months, and provide dust and moisture protection for the equipment.2. Improper filling of lubricating oil. Many operators have misconceptions about adding lubricating oil, such as adding too much lubricating oil, causing excessive internal pressure during equipment operation, and allowing grease to overflow from gaps; Insufficient filling will exacerbate wear and tear. At the same time, mismatched lubricating oil models and thinning of grease in high-temperature environments can also cause oil leakage. It is necessary to strictly follow the equipment manual to add lubricating oil of the corresponding model and standard amount.

3. Loose screws and cracked casing. Continuous vibration during the operation of the dryer can cause the fixing screws of the gearbox body to loosen over time, resulting in gaps and oil leakage; Long term heavy load operation of old equipment may cause slight cracks in the casing, leading to oil leakage and seepage. Regular tightening of screws is required for daily inspections, and if cracks are found in the box, they should be repaired or replaced in a timely manner.
4. The ventilation hole is blocked. The operation of the gearbox generates heat, and the ventilation holes are used to balance the internal air pressure. After dust blocks the ventilation holes, the internal heat cannot dissipate and the air pressure increases, which will squeeze the lubricating oil and cause it to leak out. Regularly clean the ventilation holes of dust and debris to ensure smooth air pressure.
