4 common faults and quick repair solutions for printing and dyeing machine reducers
1、 The equipment makes abnormal noises and shakes severely. Fault manifestation: During the operation of the printing and dyeing machine, the reducer makes a sharp noise, the machine body shakes slightly, and the feeding speed fluctuates between fast and slow. The core reasons are mostly gear wear, lack of oil in bearings, or uneven gear mesh clearance. Long term continuous operation leads to component wear, and the invasion of dust and water vapor in the workshop exacerbates losses. Repair plan: Stop the machine to clean the dust and impurities inside the reducer, replace with suitable high-temperature resistant lubricating grease, replace severely worn gears and bearings directly, and recalibrate the gear mesh clearance.2、 Oil seal leakage and seepage. This is the most common malfunction of printing and dyeing reducers. High temperature environments can accelerate the aging of oil seals, and coupled with long-term equipment vibration, sealing failure is highly likely to occur. Oil leakage not only leads to insufficient transmission lubrication and increased equipment wear, but also pollutes the fabric with dripping oil, resulting in the scrapping of finished products. Repair plan: Replace the special oil seal that is resistant to high and low temperatures and corrosion, check if the sealing surface of the box is deformed, reapply sealant, and avoid long-term overload operation of the reducer to reduce vibration loss.
3、 The temperature rise is too high and the body is hot. The printing and dyeing workshop itself has a high temperature, and the decelerators operate at full load for a long time. If the lubrication is poor, the reduction ratio is not matched, and the load exceeds the standard, the machine body will overheat, and in severe cases, internal components will be burned. Maintenance plan: Stop the machine to cool down, check the amount and quality of lubricating oil, and replace the deteriorated lubricating oil; Check whether the equipment load exceeds the rated parameters of the reducer, replace the high torque model in a timely manner when the working condition is overloaded, and clean the equipment heat dissipation gaps to ensure ventilation and heat dissipation.
4、 Transmission lag and fabric deviation. Commonly seen in printing and shaping machines, it directly causes printing misalignment, fabric wrinkling, and uneven dyeing. The main reasons are the decrease in transmission accuracy of the reducer and the excessive clearance between the output shafts. Repair plan: Calibrate the installation accuracy of the reducer, tighten the fixing bolts, replace the severely worn precision transmission components in a timely manner, replace the high-precision printing equipment with a closed-loop control adaptive reducer, and ensure that the positioning error is less than 0.1mm.
Timely handling of daily minor faults can effectively prevent major faults from shutting down for major repairs, significantly reducing the operation and maintenance costs of printing and dyeing equipment.
