What should be noted when replacing the output shaft of BLY12-43-0.37KW cycloidal pinwheel reducer

The following are the relevant precautions regarding the output shaft of BLY12-43-0.37KW cycloidal pinwheel reducer:

Installation precautions

Avoid axial impact: When installing couplings, pulleys, and other connecting components on the output shaft, direct impact is not allowed because the output shaft structure of the reducer cannot withstand axial impact forces. Bolts should be screwed into the shaft end screw holes and the connecting components should be installed by pressing them in.

Ensure coaxiality: When installing the reducer on the foundation, the installation centerline elevation, levelness, and related dimensions of the connected parts of the reducer should be calibrated. The concentricity of the calibrated transmission shaft should not exceed the range allowed by the coupling, otherwise it will increase the load on the output shaft, causing problems such as shaft deformation and bearing damage.

Pay attention to the installation direction: BLY12-43-0.37KW cycloidal pinwheel reducer is installed vertically, and the output shaft should be installed vertically downwards to ensure the normal operation of the reducer and even force distribution on the output shaft.

Precautions for use

Avoid bearing excessive external forces: The output shaft cannot withstand large axial and radial forces. In application scenarios with large axial and radial forces, other measures must be taken, such as installing thrust bearings, strengthening supports, etc., to prevent the output shaft from deforming or being damaged due to excessive force.

Regular inspection of lubricating oil: The amount and quality of lubricating oil in the gearbox should be checked regularly. After the first 100 hours of refueling and operation, new oil should be replaced and the internal dirty oil should be washed clean. Afterwards, it should be replaced every six months (8-hour working system). If the working conditions are harsh, the oil change time can be appropriately shortened. Good lubrication can reduce friction between the output shaft and components such as bearings, and reduce wear.

Maintenance precautions

Output shaft material and treatment: If the output shaft needs to be replaced, its material is generally 45 # steel, which has undergone quenching and tempering treatment, with a hardness of HB187-229. The shaft and journal must not have defects such as cracks or scratches, and the dimensional accuracy and surface roughness should comply with relevant regulations.

Related component inspection: When repairing the output shaft, the related components such as bearings, pin shafts, needle gear sleeves, etc. should be inspected at the same time. If they are damaged, they should be replaced in a timely manner to ensure the normal operation of the output shaft and the overall performance of the reducer.
