The primary cause of high temperature in the gearbox is abnormal lubrication, which can be divided into three situations: lack of oil, excessive oil, and poor oil quality. Insufficient lubricating oil leads to heat generation due to dry wear and friction of gears and bearings; If the oil level is too high, the resistance of the oil stirring will increase, generating a large amount of heat; Deterioration of engine oil, excessive impurities, and ineffective lubrication and heat dissipation can all cause the body to rapidly heat up. Strictly control the oil level and regularly replace genuine specialized lubricating oil.Secondly, long-term overloading operation is the most common problem for farmers' operations. In order to improve the grinding efficiency, forced feeding and overloaded operation have caused the gearbox to bear excessive torque for a long time, resulting in a sharp increase in the load on the transmission components and rapid accumulation of heat and overheating. It is recommended to control the load at 80% -90% of the rated value during homework, reserve a safety margin, and avoid continuous overloading.

Poor heat dissipation is also a core cause. The working environment of the grinding machine is dusty, and the surface of the reducer and the heat dissipation groove are easily covered by dust. The heat dissipation channel is blocked, and heat cannot be dissipated, resulting in high temperatures due to accumulation. At the same time, placing the equipment too close to the wall and having a narrow space can also affect heat dissipation. Regularly clean the dust on the machine body and reserve a ventilation maintenance space of at least 30cm around the equipment to ensure smooth heat dissipation.
In addition, gear wear, bearing jamming, and transmission offset can also cause high temperatures. After troubleshooting the basic problems, if the high temperature persists, it is necessary to disassemble and inspect internal components, replace worn parts, adjust transmission clearances, and completely solve the high temperature fault.
