How to correctly check the oil level of BLEY141-59-35 cycloidal pin gear reducer

Oil level inspection should be carried out when the gearbox is stopped, the oil temperature drops to room temperature (20-40 ℃), and the equipment is installed horizontally to avoid reading deviation caused by oil flow or equipment tilt. The specific steps are as follows:
1. Prepare tools and safety prerequisites

Tools: cloth, oil level gauge (if not included), flashlight (for observing internal oil level).

Safety: Ensure that the gearbox is powered off and the input shaft is completely stationary to prevent safety accidents caused by misoperation; Clean the dust and oil around the fuel inlet/oil level observation window to avoid the mixing of debris.

2. Identify the oil level detection device
The BLEY series cycloidal pinwheel reducer is usually equipped with 1-2 oil level detection structures, which should be checked through the built-in device first:

Oil level observation window (sight glass):

Find the circular/square transparent mirror on the side of the gearbox body (mostly made of glass or resin material, with a sealing gasket around).

Wipe the surface of the mirror with a cloth to ensure it is clear and free of oil stains.

Observe the oil level inside the sight glass: The normal oil level should be between the "upper line" and "lower line" of the sight glass (some mirrors are marked with "MAX" and "MIN", or the middle horizontal line is the standard position), and the oil should be clear without turbidity or bubbles.

Oil level plug (oil drain/oil level two in one):

Find the screw plug on the side of the box that corresponds to the oil level height (usually an inner or outer hexagonal screw plug, located below the fuel filler).

Slowly unscrew the screw plug. If a small amount of oil flows out slowly, it indicates that the oil level is normal; If there is no oil flowing out, it indicates that the oil level is too low; If a large amount of oil gushes out, it indicates that the oil level is too high.

After inspection, clean the sealing surface of the screw plug and tighten it again (pay attention to the appropriate torque to avoid slipping or loose sealing).

3. Oil level adjustment for special installation conditions

The oil level should be adjusted according to the manufacturer's technical manual (usually when installed vertically, the oil level should be slightly higher than the standard position for horizontal installation to ensure sufficient lubrication of gears/bearings). It is not possible to directly judge based on the scale of the horizontal mirror. It is necessary to consult the manufacturer in advance or refer to the installation and maintenance manual of the corresponding model.
