1. Safe shutdown and cooling
Immediately stop the operation of the equipment and cut off the power supply, hang a warning sign reading "Equipment maintenance, no closing". Wait for the gearbox to cool naturally to a warm state (recommended below 40 ℃), which facilitates the flow of lubricating oil and safe operation.

2. Drain old oil
Open the oil drain plug and completely drain the contaminated or deteriorated lubricating oil from the box to prevent impurities from entering the gear system during disassembly. Collect waste oil into dedicated containers and keep the site clean.

3. Disassembly and Inspection

Remove the end cover and connecting components, and take out the gear set;

Clean the bearing seat and rolling parts with kerosene, and check whether the raceway and ball bearings have discoloration (such as blue/brown), peeling or cracks;

Measure the radial clearance, and if it exceeds the standard value (usually 0.05-0.15mm), it is judged as failure.

4. Dismantling old bearings
Use a hydraulic puller to support the inner ring of the bearing and apply even tension to pull it out of the shaft. If the interference fit is tight, an induction heater can be used to heat the bearing to 80-100 ℃ before disassembly. It is strictly prohibited to use acetylene flame for direct heating.

5. Install new bearings

Heat the new bearing to 80-100 ℃, use a copper rod to gently tap the inner ring and install it in place, ensuring that it is tightly attached to the shaft shoulder without looseness;

Add the specified type of lubricating grease from the original factory (such as UNILUB L32), and do not mix different brands or models;
