What are the installation methods for hard tooth surface reducers and soft tooth surface reducers

The installation methods of hard tooth surface and soft tooth surface reducers are actually quite similar, with the core being to choose according to actual needs. However, hard tooth surface reducers are more delicate, so extra caution should be taken during installation. Below, I will help you clarify the common installation methods and precautions:

1、 Common installation methods

1. Divided by position and support method:

Ground installation: directly fixed with anchor bolts, suitable for small equipment such as fans and mixers, simple and easy to maintain.

Wall installation: saves space, suitable for vertical transmission, but the wall must be sturdy enough.

Base mounted installation: Fixed by a base, suitable for situations with high loads and vibrations, such as heavy machinery.

Bracket installation: Fixed with brackets, suitable for equipment that requires specific angle transmission.

Hanging installation: hoisted above, suitable for vertical layout equipment such as conveyor systems.

2. Divided by connection method:

Flange installation: Connected by flanges, the structure is compact and suitable for scenarios with limited space or high-precision positioning.

Torque arm installation: Connected with a torque arm for easy adjustment of the output shaft position.

Coupling installation: Connected through a coupling, it can compensate for installation errors and provide cushioning and shock absorption.

Shaft installation: directly mounted on the transmission shaft, saving space and suitable for compact equipment.

3. Divided by installation direction:

Horizontal installation: The output shaft is horizontal and suitable for most industrial equipment, such as conveyor belts.

Vertical installation: The output shaft is vertical, suitable for elevators and cranes.

Tilt installation: The output shaft is tilted, suitable for special layouts, such as mining machinery.

2、 Special precautions for hard tooth surface reducers

Hard tooth surface reducers require higher installation accuracy, and special attention should be paid during installation:

1. Calibrate the centerline elevation and levelness to ensure that the two shafts are coaxial when the coupling is connected.

2. Avoid directly tapping the output shaft, and use the shaft end screw hole to press in when installing the connector.

3. Eye screws are only for lifting purposes and should not be used for support or movement.

4. The cushion block configuration should be symmetrical to avoid deformation of the machine body and ensure the compactness of the cement slurry.

3、 Installation characteristics of soft tooth surface reducer

Soft tooth surface reducers are relatively "solid", please pay attention to the following during installation:

1. Ensure that the wall or bracket is strong enough to withstand weight and working loads.
