How to determine if H3SH3E gearbox is in normal condition

Whether the H3SH3E gearbox is normal can be comprehensively judged by operating temperature, vibration, abnormal noise, and regular professional testing.

1. Temperature monitoring
Measure the surface temperature of the bearing seat using an infrared thermometer. Under normal circumstances, the temperature should be 30 ℃ lower than the ambient temperature, and the temperature difference on both sides should not be significant. If the temperature continues to exceed 70 ℃ or rises sharply within a short period of time, it may indicate bearing wear or poor lubrication.

2. Vibration detection
Use a handheld vibration meter to measure the vibration velocity (vibration intensity) of the box. If the vibration value significantly increases compared to historical data or exceeds the equipment reference value, internal faults should be alerted. It is recommended to regularly test and draw trend charts to facilitate the detection of abnormal fluctuations.

3. Abnormal noise monitoring
Use a listening needle or vibrometer to monitor the running sound. Normally, it should be a uniform and light sound. If there is a "clunking" impact sound or a "rustling" friction sound, and it is located in the gear or bearing area, it indicates that the component has been worn or damaged.

4. Regular shutdown inspection

Bearing condition: Disassemble and inspect the bearing for pitting, peeling, deformation of the cage, or emulsification and deterioration of the lubricating grease.

Clearance measurement: When the radial or axial clearance exceeds 50% of the standard value, it indicates severe wear and needs to be replaced.

Accuracy detection: Radial runout is detected through a dial gauge. If it exceeds 0.05mm (normal accuracy requirement), it will affect operational stability.

5. Comprehensive judgment suggestion

Suggest combining operational monitoring with regular shutdown inspections and multidimensional verification. Even if the appearance is undamaged, if the temperature and vibration continue to be abnormal, internal damage should be considered and timely maintenance should be carried out to avoid chain damage.
