    Y2HV Series High‑voltage Three‑phase Asynchronous Motor

    Y2HV series high‑voltage three‑phase asynchronous motors represent a new‑generation compact enclosed squirrel‑cage induction motors, designed and manufactured according to IEC international standards. As an upgraded alternative to traditional Y and YKK series motors, Y2HV features compact frame dimension, light weight, high power density and excellent overall efficiency. Adopting totally‑enclosed surface cooling structure IC411, the motor does not rely on an external independent air‑to‑air heat exchanger. It saves installation space while maintaining high protection performance, and is suitable for S1 continuous heavy‑load operation. Widely adopted in power plants, water conservancy, chemical, cement and mining sectors, this series drives fans, water pumps, compressors and general heavy‑duty equipment for projects requiring compact layout and reliable enclosed protection.

    Y2HV series adopts finite‑element electromagnetic optimization to adapt to its compact frame constraints. High‑grade low‑loss silicon‑steel sheets are stacked for stator core to reduce iron loss, stray loss and magnetic leakage under full‑load long‑time running. Stator windings are built with high‑strength corona‑resistant magnet wire and processed by VPI vacuum pressure impregnation. The solid integrated winding structure delivers outstanding dielectric strength, thermal stability and resistance against electrical aging, coping with voltage fluctuation in industrial high‑voltage power grids. For rotor options, cast‑aluminum squirrel‑cage rotor offers cost‑effective performance for medium‑power specifications, while copper‑bar rotor is selected for large‑power heavy‑load working conditions for higher mechanical strength and better starting characteristics. Each rotor assembly undergoes strict high‑precision dynamic balance calibration to control vibration and noise within standard limits throughout the operating range.

    Different from YKK motors with bulky box‑type frame and top‑mounted air‑to‑air heat exchanger, Y2HV utilizes rib‑reinforced compact closed housing. Heat generated inside is conducted to external cooling ribs and dissipated by external fan. This TEFC IC411 cooling design greatly shortens overall motor length and height, which is highly valuable for equipment rooms and pumping stations with limited installation space. Since the whole machine is fully enclosed, dust, moisture and light corrosive gas cannot enter internal windings and iron core, improving anti‑pollution capability compared with open‑type IP23 Y‑series motors.

    Bearing configuration varies according to power size. Medium‑power models are fitted with heavy‑duty rolling bearings, and large‑power units adopt sliding bearings. PT100 temperature sensors can be embedded in stator windings and bearing chambers as optional configuration, transmitting real‑time temperature data to central control system for over‑temperature monitoring and early warning. Space heaters can be equipped to prevent condensation when the motor stops. For variable‑frequency working scenarios, IC416 independent external fan cooling can be supplied to guarantee sufficient cooling air volume at low‑speed operation. Multiple customized solutions are available, including high‑altitude adaptation, tropical anti‑humidity anti‑corrosion coating, special flange and double‑shaft extension to satisfy diversified site requirements.

    Y2HV compact high‑voltage motors are extensively applied for fans and circulating water pumps in power stations, large water pumps in water‑conservancy pumping stations, compressors in chemical plants, auxiliary equipment in cement and mining industry. Before delivery, every motor completes a full set of factory acceptance tests including insulation resistance test, high‑voltage withstand test, no‑load running test, vibration and noise inspection. Featuring compact footprint, high protection grade, high efficiency and easy maintenance, Y2HV series provides competitive enclosed high‑power drive solutions for modern industrial projects with limited installation space.
