Y2HV series high‑voltage three‑phase asynchronous motors represent a new‑generation compact enclosed squirrel‑cage induction motors, designed and manufactured according to IEC international standards. As an upgraded alternative to traditional Y and YKK series motors, Y2HV features compact frame dimension, light weight, high power density and excellent overall efficiency. Adopting totally‑enclosed surface cooling structure IC411, the motor does not rely on an external independent air‑to‑air heat exchanger. Y2HV series adopts finite‑element electromagnetic optimization to adapt to its compact frame constraints. High‑grade low‑loss silicon‑steel sheets are stacked for stator core to reduce iron loss, stray loss and magnetic leakage under full‑load long‑time running. Stator windings are built with high‑strength corona‑resistant magnet wire and processed by VPI vacuum pressure impregnation. The solid integrated winding structure delivers outstanding dielectric strength, thermal stability and resistance against electrical aging, coping with voltage fluctuation in industrial high‑voltage power grids. For rotor options, cast‑aluminum squirrel‑cage rotor offers cost‑effective performance for medium‑power specifications, while copper‑bar rotor is selected for large‑power heavy‑load working conditions for higher mechanical strength and better starting characteristics. Different from YKK motors with bulky box‑type frame and top‑mounted air‑to‑air heat exchanger, Y2HV utilizes rib‑reinforced compact closed housing. Heat generated inside is conducted to external cooling ribs and dissipated by external fan. This TEFC IC411 cooling design greatly shortens overall motor length and height, which is highly valuable for equipment rooms and pumping stations with limited installation space. Since the whole machine is fully enclosed, dust, moisture and light corrosive gas cannot enter internal windings and iron core, improving anti‑pollution capability compared with open‑type IP23 Y‑series motors.
