A4 series high voltage squirrel cage induction motors are specially developed for Russian and CIS markets, fully manufactured and tested in compliance with GOST standards. This series adopts mature three-phase asynchronous motor design, with standardized mechanical dimensions, tolerance requirements and performance indicators matching GOST specifications, and it also meets IEC international standards for dual certification. Designed for S1 continuous heavy-duty operation, the A4 series can directly connect to local 6kV or 10kV power grids, widely used in large industrial projects across CIS regions. The electromagnetic design of A4 series motors is optimized via finite element simulation, tailored to meet GOST requirements for overload capacity, starting torque and starting current. The stator core is stacked with high-performance low-loss silicon steel sheets to reduce iron loss and stray loss during long-time continuous operation. Stator windings adopt Class F insulation system with vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) treatment. The fully impregnated winding structure enhances dielectric strength, corona resistance and thermal aging resistance, capable of adapting to voltage fluctuation and cold-start conditions common in CIS industrial sites. The squirrel cage rotor supports two optional structures. Copper bar rotor version provides higher mechanical strength, stronger overload resistance and better starting performance, which can limit starting current while maintaining high starting torque to avoid impact on local power grid. Every rotor undergoes high-precision dynamic balance calibration to control vibration and noise within GOST allowable range.
The motor adopts rigid welded steel frame structure, which has outstanding mechanical strength and anti-shock performance, suitable for heavy impact load and frequent start-stop working conditions. For bearing system, medium-power models use heavy-duty rolling bearings, while large-power specifications adopt sliding bearings with labyrinth sealing structure to prevent oil leakage and dust intrusion. PT100 temperature sensors can be embedded in stator windings and bearings as optional configuration, transmitting real-time temperature signals to central control system for over-temperature monitoring and early warning. Multiple cooling options are available. IC01 open ventilation is suitable for clean indoor workshops; IC411 self-fan cooling fits most conventional industrial sites; IC611 air-to-air closed cooling creates sealed internal air circuit, preventing dust and corrosive gas from entering the motor core, which is ideal for mines, cement plants and chemical factories with severe pollution.
The A4 series has strong environmental adaptability according to GOST climate grades. It can be customized for low-temperature environment, dry tropical, wet tropical and outdoor anti-corrosion working conditions. Special anti-rust and salt-fog resistant coating can be applied for coastal or high-humidity sites. The motor supports variable frequency drive modification, and the optimized electromagnetic and bearing design suppresses extra heat and vibration generated under variable speed operation.
A4 series GOST standard motors are widely used to drive compressors, large water pumps, induced draft fans, crushers and belt conveyors. Before delivery, all units go through a complete set of factory tests following GOST inspection procedures, including insulation resistance test, no-load running test, load test, vibration, noise and power factor inspection.
