The electromagnetic design of Y IP23 series motors is optimized by finite element calculation. The stator core is laminated with high-quality low-loss silicon steel sheets, which effectively reduces iron loss, magnetic leakage and stray loss during long-term operation. The stator windings adopt high-performance electromagnetic wires and complete vacuum pressure impregnation treatment. The solid winding structure has excellent dielectric strength and thermal aging resistance, which can withstand voltage fluctuations and repeated startup impacts in normal industrial power grids. The squirrel cage rotor is available in cast aluminum and copper bar structures. Copper bar rotor models have stronger mechanical strength and better starting characteristics, which can maintain high starting torque while controlling the starting current, reducing the impact on the high-voltage power grid. Each rotor assembly undergoes strict dynamic balance calibration to ensure low vibration and low noise during full-load operation.
This series adopts open ventilation IC01 cooling structure. The hot air inside the motor is directly discharged to the surrounding environment, and fresh cold air is inhaled from outside for heat exchange. This open cooling method has high heat exchange efficiency and low wind resistance, so the motor temperature rise is well controlled under continuous rated load. However, due to the IP23 open structure, it is only suitable for indoor sites with clean air, low dust and no corrosive gas. It is not recommended for mines, cement plants and chemical workshops with heavy dust or corrosive fumes. The frame is made of cast iron with good vibration damping performance, stable mechanical properties and strong rigidity. Heavy-duty rolling bearings are standard for most models, and sliding bearings can be selected for high-power specifications. PT100 temperature sensors can be embedded in stator windings and bearings as optional accessories to realize real-time temperature monitoring and over-temperature alarm.
Y IP23 series motors have stable performance and simple maintenance. Users can directly observe the internal winding and cooling condition through the ventilation window, which greatly facilitates daily inspection and fault troubleshooting. The motor can be matched with soft starter or high-voltage frequency converter according to customer requirements to realize smooth startup and stepless speed regulation. It is mainly applied in power plants, water conservancy projects and general industrial workshops to drive induced draft fans, forced draft fans, circulating water pumps and other auxiliary equipment.
