How to repair the bearing assembly of P2LB-14-63-V11-99 planetary gearbox after failure

After the failure of the bearing assembly of P2LB-14-63-V11-99 planetary gearbox, it is recommended to replace the bearing or repair the surface according to the type and degree of damage, and prioritize overall replacement to ensure operational stability.

This model belongs to high-precision planetary gearboxes, and once its bearing components fail, it usually means that irreversible damage has occurred internally. The maintenance needs to follow the following steps:

1. Shutdown, power off and cool down: Immediately stop the equipment operation, cut off the power supply, and wait for the gearbox to naturally cool down to a warm state (facilitating the flow of lubricating oil).

2. Drain old oil: Open the drain plug to completely drain the contaminated or deteriorated lubricating oil, avoiding impurities from entering the gear system during disassembly.

3. Disassembly inspection:

Remove the end cover and connecting components, and take out the gear set;

Clean the bearing seat and rolling parts with kerosene, and check whether the raceway and ball bearings have discoloration (such as blue/brown), peeling or cracks;

Measure the radial clearance, and if it exceeds the standard value, it is judged as failure.

4. Replace bearings:

Select a new bearing of the same model (P2LB-14-63-V11-99 adapter), heat it to 80-100 ℃, and gently tap the inner ring with a copper rod to install it in place, ensuring that it is tightly attached to the shaft shoulder without looseness.

5. Lubrication and reset:

Add the specified type of lubricating oil from the original factory, and prohibit mixing different brands or models;

Control the oil level according to the nameplate parameters, reassemble each component and tighten the screws.
