Gearbox for grain and oil processing equipment, configuration plan for high-temperature and humid working conditions
In response to the operational requirements of grain and oil processing equipment under high temperature and humidity conditions, the gearbox configuration plan needs to focus on solving the three core issues of heat dissipation and cooling, moisture and corrosion prevention, and sealing and pollution prevention. The following is a specific comprehensive configuration and upgrade plan:1、 Enhanced configuration of cooling system (to cope with high temperature conditions)
High temperature will accelerate the deterioration of lubricating oil and exacerbate component wear, and it is necessary to improve the heat dissipation capacity in a targeted manner.
1. Conventional air cooling upgrade: Regularly clean the dust and debris on the original heat sink of the reducer to expand the heat dissipation area; Under heavy load or continuous high temperature conditions, it is recommended to install a forced air cooling device (such as an axial fan) to directly blow air onto the heat sink to improve heat dissipation efficiency.
2. Efficient water cooling intervention: If simple air cooling cannot meet the cooling needs, a water cooling system (such as built-in cooling coils) can be installed to remove heat through circulating cooling water, ensuring that the internal temperature of the gearbox is controlled within 70 ℃.

3. External thermal insulation protection: For outdoor or high temperature environments with direct sunlight, a sunshade should be installed on the gearbox to prevent external thermal radiation from causing the overall temperature of the equipment to rise.
2、 Upgrade of protection and sealing system (to cope with humid and harsh environments)
Grain and oil processing workshops are often accompanied by high humidity, high concentration dust, and even cleaning operations, requiring a significant increase in equipment protection levels.
1. Overall protection level improvement: It is recommended to increase the protection level of the gearbox to IP65 or above. For areas with high corrosion risk, anti-corrosion treatment (such as spraying polyurea coating) can be carried out on the gearbox housing, and stainless steel fasteners can be fully replaced.
2. Multiple sealing structure reinforcement: Replace aging conventional seals and choose wear-resistant, high and low temperature resistant, and corrosion-resistant fluororubber material. It is recommended to upgrade the shaft end seal to a combination structure of "double oil seal+labyrinth seal", and fill lubricating grease in the middle to form a physical barrier, effectively blocking water vapor and high concentration dust from entering the gearbox.
3. Food grade hygiene adaptation: If the equipment is in direct contact with materials or in an area that requires frequent flushing, a stainless steel easy to clean reducer should be selected, and food grade lubricants that meet food safety standards should be used internally to prevent accidental leakage and contamination of grain and oil products.
