Heavy duty models for large models (BL39 and above): 35CrMo
Low end simple version: A few use 45 # steel (not recommended for heavy loads)

2、 Standard heat treatment process
1. Overall quenching and tempering treatment
Quenching+high temperature tempering, hardness HB220~250
Function: Enhance the overall toughness of the shaft, resist bending and torsion, and prevent shaft breakage.
2. High frequency surface quenching of journal/mating position
Quenching hardness HRC52~58
Function: Wear resistant, wear-resistant, and extend the service life of bearing assembly positions.
3. Keyway area
Do not perform surface quenching, retain tempering toughness, and avoid cracking during key installation by knocking.
