How to properly maintain WB85-LD370-43 micro cycloidal reducer
Maintenance points of WB85-LD370-43 micro cycloidal reducerThe maintenance of this model of reducer (WB85 base number, LD370 speed ratio 43) needs to be combined with the general specifications and specific working conditions of the cycloidal pinwheel reducer. The following are the key maintenance steps:
1. Lubrication management
Lubrication method: Priority should be given to using lubricating oil (N220 extreme pressure gear oil is recommended), and the oil level should be maintained at 1/2~2/3 of the sight glass.

Oil change cycle: The first oil change is after 300 hours of operation, and then every 3000 hours or six months thereafter (whichever comes first).
Oil quality inspection: If the oil is emulsified, blackened, or contains metal debris, it needs to be replaced immediately.
2. Daily inspection
Temperature and vibration: Monitor the shell temperature daily (normal ≤ 70 ℃), and the vibration speed should be ≤ 6.3mm/s (ISO standard).
Sealing: Check the input/output shaft oil seal for oil leakage every week. Minor oil leakage can be temporarily left untreated, and if severe, replace the fluororubber oil seal.
Fasteners: Check the anchor bolts and motor connection flange bolts monthly, and tighten them according to the manufacturer's torque (such as M16 bolts 200~250N · m).
3. Regular maintenance
Mesh clearance: Measure the clearance between the cycloid gear and the needle teeth with a feeler gauge every month (normal ≤ 0.2mm), and replace the needle teeth sleeve if it exceeds the tolerance
Bearing status: Check for abnormal noise in the input/output shaft bearings. If there is a "rustling sound", lithium based grease (NLGI 2 #) should be added.
Clean heat dissipation: Clean the dust on the surface of the shell, especially the top of the vertical model, which needs to be kept ventilated.
4. Fault handling
High temperature alarm: If the temperature exceeds 80 ℃, the machine should be stopped to check whether the bearings and pin shafts are worn or poorly lubricated.
Abnormal noise investigation: Open the reducer to check whether the cycloidal gear and eccentric sleeve are glued or deformed. When replacing damaged parts, they should be assembled according to the standard.
5. Installation and operation specifications
Installation requirements: Ensure concentricity error ≤ 0.035mm, tilt angle ≤ 15 °, and avoid hammering the output shaft.
Load control: The radial/axial force of the output shaft should be within the rated range, and auxiliary support should be installed for overloading.
Precautions
Do not mix lubricants: Lubricating oil and grease should not be mixed, otherwise it may cause poor heat dissipation.
Maintenance standard: When replacing the cycloidal gear, the planetary hole and end face should be used as the reference, and the concentricity error should be ≤ 0.02mm.
